Who We Are

Next Move Record Clearing was created by a team with over a decade of experience working within California’s legal system and seeing firsthand how a criminal record can continue to affect someone long after a case has ended. We understand the importance of these requests and the very real impact these documents can have on someone’s ability to move forward.

We believe expungements and record sealing should be accessible, affordable, and personal. Our clients aren’t just case numbers or a stack of forms to process. Every case represents someone trying to remove an obstacle, pursue an opportunity, or simply put an old chapter behind them. Our service and company is designed help you take your next step.

Next Move Record Clearing is a California Legal Document Assistant (LDA) preparation service focused on helping people move beyond the barriers created by a criminal record.

We are not attorneys. We are registered, licensed, and bonded. LDA #00257. Registration Riverside County.

A Better Way to Clear Your Record

Clearing your record shouldn’t mean being handed a stack of completed forms and left to figure out what comes next. Next Move goes beyond preparing the paperwork. We handle the filing, required service, and the steps that follow, so your case gets filed quickly and in front of a judge sooner.

We focus on making the process easy to understand and easy to start, so you can spend less time dealing with the past and more time deciding what comes next.

We Look Beyond the Conviction. Beyond the arrest. We See Where You Want to Be and Want to Help You Get There.

The criminal conviction or arrest and the request to remove them are just the start of your story. That’s why we don’t just stop at the conviction date or rely only on the information provided at intake. We review the available court record and case documents to better understand what happened throughout the case. This information can be crucial when determining what to ask for and how.

If the record raises a question, we want our clients to know about it before the court does. We identify items that may need clarification, bring them to your attention, and gather the information they provide so the court has a more complete picture. We ask the right questions to help put your best foot forward. We’ve seen hundreds of expungements get granted or denied. We know the common objections the court and law enforcement has. Let our experience be your guide.

We Don't Just Prepare the Forms. We Take the Time to Understand the Record Behind Them.
